Interactions with Revathi Kamath, craft & design support

Summary:

Santosh Bhai introduces himself and his background, while he moves on to talk about what he understood of Revathi Kamath’s involvement in the colony. He recalls his memories of her from when he was just 11 or 12 years old, memories which involved her detailing designs for furnishings. He mentions the Anandgram project that Rajeev Sethi brought together for the community. He goes back to the crafts work he and his father were involved in, remembering the furniture design templates they worked on such as ‘fold cut’, ‘diamond design’, etc. On how he trained and learned furniture crafting, he  talks about keeping the craft alive and the government support they receive for the purpose. He talks about the involvement that Revathi had in the project,especially in furniture designing. He talks about his relationship with the craft and the way his craft-making and workshops are going along with associations recently, as well as those done in Shadipur.
